A great site! Very informative and easy reading! After surfing through your whole site I felt very comfortable and secure in your knowledge and concern for this beautiful and relatively new breed. Although I am currently the proud momma of a four year old Chocolate Lab (my husband's a big-time outdoorsman), one of the reasons for the purchase of a sporting breed, and we also have a 10 month old Gold & White Shih Tzu, which was purchased mainly for me. I was looking for a cuddle bunny and now she cuddles mainly with my husband!! :) Since a child, though, I have always dreamed of owning a husky!! Although I love dogs in general, as you can see, the husky was always my true love, since childhood!! I didn't fulfill that dream yet because I read some things about the husky, aside from their beauty, which is a given, that they are big-time diggers and escape artists, if given the opportunity. I would be devastated if anything happened to one of my dogs!! Yet, when I discovered this new breed, I was thrilled!!! The husky I always wanted in a lap dog size with a lot of the husky habits removed or at least decreased! In the future, when I have more room in my home for another dog, the Alaskan Klee Kai is definitely the dog for me. I guarantee, you will be hearing from me in the future!!

The Alasan Klee Kai are very beautiful dogs! I seen a program on T.V. on them and how they haven't been accepted in all dog shows.I feel that is a tragedy.These dogs are very compatable to do so and win the competions.I have loved Huskies since I was little,but they were too big to keep in the house.I will be keeping up with this breed.The more I see them the more I adore them! My name is Jena and i'm 11 and I'v wanted a breed relly relly bad for two year. I found out about the breed in a dog encylapedia in our school library. I starred at it for a half an hour each day in school finally I got the courage to take it to my dad. I'd been wanting a dog ever since Sieara ddied wich was when I was three. then my uncle got a choclate lab and then I relly wanted a toy AKK . My dad said no again because we travel alot . But I have 1 best friend and she takes care of here grandparents snowzer all the time. I will be down in Texas in July or August So yes? no? maybe so?

Exellent site.having read through your site i am impresed with the passion & love you have for the breads.I have 3 female siberian huskie my self and love the bread but 3 in the house was a bit to much so they are out side in big kennels & runs.As a family we all enjoy spending time with our dogs and sharing our pasion with other people.I am very intrested in the Alaskan Klee Kai but to my knowledge there are no Breaders in the uk. I have the most beautiful Alaskan Malamute that is just 1 year old (11/29/06). My husband just passed away tragically, and my children and I are not able to handle him alone, nor do we think he is getting enough exercise or attention. His name is Buckaroo Rider "Buck" and an absolutely beauty! It breaks our hearts to think about having to give him away, but life has made a huge turn and Buck needs a place to run and enjoy, and be enjoyed!

I have what the vet calls an Alaskan husky. He is black with blue eyes. He's now 9 weeks old, we got him from a shelter when he was 6 wks. He has taken to kennel training very well. He tends to want to chew on everything he can get his mouth on including us. We keep giving him a toy (chew) item to replace our toes and hands. What I want to know is , there is a very loving side to him, but also a very agressive side. I was brushing him while he was on his chain, which he ended up getting tangled. When I went to take him off the put him on his normal leash to go inside (he bit me), this was not a playful bite like usual, this was an angry bite, he ment to be mean. What do you do to gain control of this? I know I'm suppose to be the alfa, sometimes it doesn't seem to work.
